Hello,
First of all, let me introduce myself — my name is Brian Schmitt, and I’m the Director of Harmony Hall Clubhouse here in Lapeer.
Harmony Hall is a special program that touches the lives and hearts of so many people who walk through our doors. It’s a place where members truly feel they belong. This is their clubhouse — a place where they have ownership, purpose, and a key stake in the direction the program takes.
Our program offers meaningful opportunities for members to build friendships in a positive and supportive environment. In addition, we provide support for those pursuing employment, education, independent living, and other personal goals that bring joy and purpose to life.
So many people living with mental illness experience isolation and lack a strong support system. At Harmony Hall, we empower members to use their voices, support one another, and believe in their own recovery.
Every day, we celebrate progress — big and small. We believe that recovery is possible, and that tomorrow will be better than today, especially when we walk the journey together.
Harmony Hall is based on the evidence-based Clubhouse Model and is accredited by Clubhouse International. We demonstrate our commitment to this model by upholding the 37 Standards for Clubhouse Programs, ensuring that our work is effective, inclusive, and grounded in best practices.
We are so grateful to have served the Lapeer community for the past 30 years, opening our doors to anyone seeking help, connection, or simply a place to belong.
If you’re reading this, we hope you’ve either visited the clubhouse or are considering stopping by. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call — we’d love to give you a tour.
We’re incredibly proud of the community we’ve built — and we always have room for one more.
Warm regards,
Brian Schmitt
Director, Harmony Hall Clubhouse
